The Asian Studies Center is located on the 3rd floor of the Leslie Hardinge Library. Records of the entire Asian Studies Center collection are accessible through the library’s online catalog. The collections are to be checked out and apply same loaning rules of regular circulating books.
Tips in Locating Asian Studies Center Books.

- The collections are shelved by country. Books under each country are color coded and are arranged according to call number. Taking note of the country and the call number will help you locate the book much easier.
- Collections in Islam and Buddhism which are not country related are shelved under these subjects. Be sure to note the subject Islam or Buddhism and the call number as you look for a book under this subject.
- Asian –General Collection includes the books which are not country related but speaks about the continent or a region in Asia, and books that covers two or more counties.
- Only print format of books relating to Asian religions will be placed in the center. Other formats will stay in the IMRC or periodical section but there will be lists of other resources available at the end of shelves of each country for cross referencing or see the list below:
